Without objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 271(FIN) An Act relating to oversight of food establishments by the Department of Environmental Conservation; establishing a Food Safety Advisory Group; and providing for an effective date was adopted and read the second time. Senator Ellis offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 2, line 17, change to read: (2) charge more than one inspection fee when the department inspects a bar and a restaurant if the bar and restaurant are contained in one food establishment, share the same kitchen, and are owned and operated by the same person ¦MORE THAN ONE FOOD SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT IF THE FOOD SERVICE ESTABLISHMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN ONE BUILDING AND SHARE THE SAME KITCHENá; Senator Ellis moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Taylor objected. The question being: Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?
